Valve Confirms New “Left 4 Dead 3” Trailer To Be Fake…

I know ladies and gentlemen, not what you want to hear from one of the greatest Zombie Series to ever exist… This weirdly titled video showing what seems to be a Trailer for Left 4 Dead 3 made it’s way to Youtube yesterday:

Valve confirmed to PC Gamer that this Trailer was actually fake, which would explain the absence of the “Left 4 Dead” logo. In my opinion, I can’t shake the feeling that this may be the actual Left 4 Dead 3 trailer, but Valve is trying to cover it up. That’s just a theory, for now, all we know is that this trailer is a fake, but let’s look at an interesting detail during the last second of the video. If you stop at 2 minutes and 2 seconds on this video, you will notice the hand holds up 3 fingers at the very last second. Here’s the picture for those who didn’t catch it:

This could mean absolutely nothing, but don’t you think that the HD Footage, the safe house door, and the zombie holding up 3 fingers at the end seem a little questionable not to be the Left 4 Dead 3 Official Trailer? It’s known that this is far from how Valve likes to do their trailers, just like the Left 4 Dead 2 trailer, but maybe they are taking the more mysterious route this time. Very good trailer, I hope to see Left 4 Dead 3 comes to redeem its spot in the future of Zombie Games.
