VALORANT Patch 2.04 is live now, and it comes with some decent changes! The changes are on the smaller end, so this is going to be a quick overview. If you’d rather read the official notes, here you go.
New Agent – ASTRA
Astra is VALORANT’s 15th Agent, and she has some crazy powers! This Agent can control the cosmos and use it to her advantage. I don’t exactly know how her power works, but I know she has a lot of utility.
More Tactical Automatic Callouts
Hate when your teammates don’t call something out? Well, Riot acknowledges your pain and is working on more Automatic Callouts! This time, they’ve added callouts with specific locations on the map!
Now, whenever someone sees Spike drop on Bind in Showers, their Agent will announce that. It’s not fun when teammates don’t callout valuable information, so I can respect this change!
Ranked Changes
These changes are minor, but I will still cover them, of course. It will now display your rank after your first placement match. If you’ve already played Ranked last act, then you will only need one placement match.
If you are in Lower Ranks, you can now queue with more tiers! Iron players should be able to queue with Silvers if I’m not mistaken. That pretty much wraps it all up. What do you think about these changes in VALORANT 2.04?
