The Division 2 x Resident Evil 25th Anniversary Event Is Live!

The Division 2 pays tribute to Resident Evil’s 25th Anniversary with an in-game event! I’m a tiny bit late to the punch, but the event started yesterday. You can earn Resident Evil inspired Outfits, Backpack Trophies, Arm Patches, and even Weapon Skins! Let’s dive into this battle zone for a close look, shall we?

As Ubisoft covered in their blog post recently, this event goes on from Feb. 2nd to Feb. 15th, 2021! They’ve added outfits of iconic figures you might be familiar with:

• Leon Kennedy (RPD Outfit)
• Chris Redfield (S.T.A.R.S Outfit)
• Umbrella (Operative Outfit)
• Rebecca Chambers (S.T.A.R.S Outfit)
• Jill Valentine (S.T.A.R.S Outfit)

The Backpack Trophies include T-Virus, Jill Sandwich, Zombie Hand, RPD Badge, Ink Ribbon, Doberman, and Licker! Oh, and the four Arm Patches S.T.A.R.S, Umbrella Corporation, RPD, and Resident Evil 25th Anniversary, as well as a Nemesis Mask!

Of course, you don’t get these all for free. You have to obtain keys for Resident Evil Apparel Caches, which you can earn through SHD Leveling or Direct purchases with Premium Credits. If you end up with leftover keys after the event is finished, you still have time to use them from Feb. 16th to Feb. 22nd!

Last but not least, you can gift keys to your friends. I won’t lie, I’m a tiny bit disappointed there wasn’t any Zombies or Monsters to battle. I feel like the event would be 10x better if they did that. Anyway, enjoy your Resident Evil gear!
