The Biggest Game Flop In 2019…

I’d hate to slander a game that honestly had me sold during the demo, but the amount of disappointment this game brought me…  So, let’s get started on the Biggest Game Flop in 2019!

Anthem was supposed to be the next big “Open world RPG loot and shoot” game to beat Destiny 2 or Division 2 for atleast a decade.

The game reveal at E3 2017 had EVERYONE in a uproar about how great this game was going to be! 2019 comes and retail version looks nothing like E3 version 2 years ago.

EA has been forcing Bioware to use the Frostbite engine, which is great for shooters but trash for RPGs. The game still looks amazing, but it can be a drag for those without a super computer.

Now that this one part is out of the way, let’s get down to main reason the game flopped. That reason would be it’s horrible loot system…

When Anthem launched, the community boomed with complaints on how bad the progression system is. The worst part about this, is that Bioware wasn’t even listening to the community at the time!Β

To top it off, bugs would go unhotfixed! Loading screens would crash players games for a month straight. Everything listed in this article is just the short of why Anthem flopped.Β

Good news is that Bioware is finally fixing most things after they lost a huge portion of their player base!
