Since 2107, Super Girl Gamer Pro has been a competitive video game series dedicated to supporting women in gaming. It has provided a platform for female gamers to help inspire more women to play a more significant role in Esports.
ASA Entertainment has had a long history of innovation, advocacy, and success in the action sports industry. The company focuses on sports and entertainment areas that have traditionally focused on men: snowboarding, surfing, DJ‘ing, BMX, and Esports. Since the company began in 1994, it has produced more action and sports events than any company in the world. Rick Bratman, CEO at ASA, has been a driving force in empowering women.
Their events raise money as well as awareness for many organizations that are focused on breast cancer awareness, bullying prevention, and sustainability. Their roster includes Boarding for Breast Cancer, Earth’s Oceans Foundation, and No Place for Hate.
ASA‘s mission is to create a safe environment that encourages and empowers women to participate in competitive gaming. It seeks to facilitate a future where women and men have equal opportunities within Esports, as well as the gaming industry as a whole. Super Girl is a collaboration of individuals, organizations, and brands who believe in the importance of providing equality, opportunity, and inclusion for women in gaming.
The tournament is open to all female-identifying players.
