The Spongebob Anime is finally back on Youtube after a dispute between the creator and the Youtube team.
The popular animation “Suponjibobu Anime Ep #1: Bubble Bass Arc” caught lots of wind after its release on July 23rd. This fan-made anime is an extreme take on one of Nickelodeons most popular shows, SpongeBob SquarePants.
However, Youtube took down the animation due to a violation of community guidelines. Narmak, the creator of the SpongeBob parody, was shocked to see his video taken down:
So @YouTube rejected my appeal to get the spongebob anime episode back up. No support, nobody to talk to me: just an automated email.
I'm tired and frustrated, but I won't give up. Thank you everyone for your support; we NEED someone at YouTube to help. #SaveSpongeBobAnime pic.twitter.com/rCy3NcWM0h

After two days of disputing, Narmak got his SpongeBob parody put back up on Youtube. This is most likely due to community backlash from their decision to remove the video. There are so many cases of this, and it’s ridiculous at this point. Youtube’s team is starting to look like Twitch’s team.
Moving on, the SpongeBob Anime/Parody is back up on Youtube at the moment, and I suggest watching it if you haven’t. I think it’s so hilarious and cool that they turned a kids show into a serious anime.
Bubble Bass would bully SpongeBob SquarePants in the kid’s show, and now Bubble Bass is this stereotypical anime villain. This is not suited for children due to strong language, sexual content, and sensitive content (gore).
Thanks to the #savespongebobanime on Twitter, the SpongeBob Anime/Parody returns for more people to witness!
