POST MALONE COVERS CLASSIC ROCK

Post Malone once again showed us his love for hard rock during the “Bud Light Seltzer Sessions” New Year’s Eve live-streamed concert.

Post played a leading set of 10 originals, including 5 from his most recent album, Hollywood’s Bleeding. The hip-hop and pop star was then joined onstage by Slash, lead guitarist for Guns N’ Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, and Jane’s Addiction bassist Chris Chaney and rocked some classics from Black Sabbath and Alice in Chains.

The show ended with a version of the epic Black Sabbath song “War Pigs”, with Malone taking on Ozzy Osbourne‘s vocals for a 10-minute rendition of the iconic metal song.

Andrew Watt, the producer for both Post Malone and Ozzy Osbourne, played guitar throughout the entire main set and the encore.

Posty and Ozzy swapped favors on their respective most recent albums, with Ozzy singing on Malone’s “Take What You Want” on Hollywood’s Bleeding, and Posty featuring on Osbourne‘s “It’s a Raid” from Ordinary Man.

Malone also showed off his rock passion in April with a critically acclaimed live stream performance of Nirvana covers. Blink-182‘s Travis Barker accompanied him on drums.
