PlayStation PlayStation – PSN Name Changes Are Now Live! April 10, 201994 views0 Share By Johnny Django Share That’s right! If you are a PlayStation player, you can now change your name. Your First name change is free, but any future name changes will cost $9.99 ($4.99 if you’re a PlayStation Plus Subscriber). But that’s not all, your Old Username will still belong to you and you can revert back to it for free! There is even an option that allows you to have your Old Username next to your new one for 30 days. Games that have been released on or after April 1st, 2018 (When developers started using a tool that updates User’s name to change at the system level) shouldn’t experience any problems with your new name. Sony states that a “large majority of the most actively played PS4 games” should work fine.
