OP.GG now has a Desktop App! The OG stat tracking, rune finding, champ ranking platform has joined the Desktop client party! They are a tiny-bit late, but hey, better than never, right? Similar to Blitz.gg, it tracks almost everything you need to know.
As of the current time of this article, it’s in beta but will most likely leave the pre-state midseason. You don’t need an invitation. You can hop right in to test it out now! Here is the link, and it should automatically pick-up your account to track.

Although OP.GG was and sometimes still is the go-to for runes and broken champs. It doesn’t feel that way in Season 11. At the current moment, no one knows what’s strong because there are so many combinations that need to be explored.
My Review on OP.GG’s Desktop App
Disclaimer: It’s in Beta at the moment, but I’m going to give constructive criticism so it can be better in the future.
Let’s start off with the look. Although OP.GG can be creative sometimes. That specialty didn’t seem to leak into the OP.GG Desktop App visually. It looks pretty bland, in my opinion. Here’s what the app looks like without being in-game or logged in:
There isn’t too much more to say about the client’s look, but let’s move onto the features if we are comparing Blitz.gg to OP.GG’s client, Blitz, wins due to multiple features that OP hasn’t implemented yet. Said features are Tier-Lists, Pro Builds, and Tips! OP.GG has none of the above built into the client at the moment.
Other than that, there isn’t anything else to talk about. Out of a scale from 1 through 5, I’d give it a 3 comparison wise. It’s not a bad app first off, and secondly, I only gave it this rating because it’s in beta. I am sure they will add and possibly make the features better in the future.
