Mordekaiser has truly “never been bad” in the realm of League of Legends! Between his 3rd hit Damage along with his ridiculous ability to Lifesteal majority of damage dealt to him, Mordekaiser has always been top tier if you know how to use him well.
Now, Mordekaiser has finally received the full rework that has been very much needed due to everything changing. Honestly, I can’t want to see how cool his skins look because his base skin is amazing! Enough talk about it, you came here to actually see the reimage and abilities!
I just want to point out how bad-ass his armor and the shadow isle mist look on him! At this point, they HAVE to make the Ruined King sometime soon or else Mordekaiser will be crowned the King of the Shadow Isles!
“For the players out the who really really like old Mordekaiser, my hope is that we have considered those players as much as we can and that we have brought forward the best version of the champion that we can deliver to as many as want to play it.” states 1 Rioter!
If you really think about it, they didn’t change it too far from the original kit of Mordekaiser. Besides his Ult and Pull, his abilities almost mimic Old Mordekaisers kit in a different vision. Anyways, here are his abilities:
Darkness Rise (Passive) – Mordekaiser’s basic attacks deal bonus magic damage.
After three spells or attacks against a champion, Darkness Rise deals damage to nearby enemies and gives movement speed until Mordekaiser is out of combat.
Obliterate (Q) – Mordekaiser slams down his mace, dealing damage in an area or bonus damage to a single enemy.
Indestructible (W) – The evil overlord absorbs 25% of damage taken and damage dealt. Casting once generates a shield with this value. Mordekaiser can cast again to consume 50% of the shield for health.
Death’s Grasp (E) –
Passive: Mordekaiser gains 25% Magic Penetration.
Active: A deadly claw drags enemies towards him, dealing damage.
Realm of Death (R) – Mordekaiser banishes a single enemy champion to the Death Realm for a 7 second 1v1, stealing a percent of their core stats. If he kills his target, he consumes their soul, keeping their partial stats until they respawn.

The next rework is going to be Pantheon, and it looks promising!
This wraps it up for the 9.11 Changes, but there’s 1 thing I would like to point out! Each year, Riot’s ideas and imaging gets better and better! I’ve said this in previous articles, but I am going to say it again! Their skins and splash arts are going to be without contest very soon!
