FeaturesGaming NewsNewsProduct Reviews Gaming Mouse Review – Logitech G903 LIGHTSPEED Wireless The best Charge-Life I've ever seen on a wireless mouse! February 20, 202167 views0 Share By Johnny Django Share The Logitech G903 LIGHTSPEED Wireless is due for a Gaming Mouse Review! This is one of the more expensive mouses I’ve ever tested. What’s the price? I see them on sale for $129.99, but the actual price is $149.99. Before we dive into this review, here are the key features I will be focusing on: Comfortability Sensor Accessibility How Many Hours Per Charge (Wireless Specific) Comfortability This mouse takes on a longer shape but still manages to fit every hand size. Its narrow tall-ish design prevents your thumb or pinkie from being a door-stopper. In other words, you don’t have to worry about your thumb or pinkie blocking your mouse movement. I do have one issue with the mouse, and that would be because it has no grip. I know its narrow tall-ish design keeps your palm and fingers wrapped around it nicely, but the grip has always been a useful factor in mouses. For instance, if I need to swing my mouse to catch an enemy on the far right of my screen, I have to hold the mouse slightly tighter. This isn’t that big of an issue, but it would be better with the grip near the thumb and pinkie. Sensor The Logitech G903 LIGHTSPEED Wireless comes with a HERO 25K Sensor, one of their best sensors to offer. I’ve had this mouse for a little over 7 months, and I can say I rarely run into an issue with its sensor. There is one problem that I and many others have experienced, no lift-off. What I mean by no lift-off is that if you slightly lift it off the mousepad (yes, this does happen), the sensor will not detect anything. Again, not that big of an issue, but I did have to learn how not to lift my hand while turning fast. I’ve also tested this mouse on different surfaces, and it worked perfectly on Wood, Mouse Pad, My Hand, Plastic Table, and Kitchen Counters! Accessibility Of course, most gaming mice have multiple programmable buttons, and this mouse is no exception. Weighing in with 11 buttons (right/left click included in that number), you have 9 total programmable buttons! It is nice to have all these buttons, but to be honest I rarely use them—especially the buttons near my pinkie, those collected unholy amounts of dust. Moving on from that, the one thing I absolutely love about this mouse is the USB Charging/Data Cable! This is the 5th Wireless mouse I’ve ever used, and it’s the only mouse that has had this god-like feature. The reason why I avoided wireless mouses for the longest is because of the horrible charge-life and switching out batteries every 2 days. Now, not only is the charge-life on this mouse INSANE, but I can still use it while it’s charging! I think that alone is enough to make this mouse worth its price. Speaking of charge-life, let’s talk about that! How Many Hours Per Charge? Logitech reports that you can play up to 140 hours thanks to its HERO 25K Sensor. Were they lying? No, I charge this mouse once every week and a half while still using it. This mouse has the best charge-life I’ve ever seen on any piece of wireless technology. Not only is the sensor super-efficient, but the mouse itself turns off after 10 minutes when you aren’t using it. The RGB lighting doesn’t affect the battery-life, so there’s no need to worry! Additional Details The Logitech G903 LIGHTSPEED Wireless is compatible with the POWERPLAY Wireless Charging System, allowing you to not worry about charging at all! At the time of this review, this mouse goes for $149.99 but drops down to $129.99 when on sale! For the lowest price, go to Amazon because they usually drop it to $119.99. You can order this from Amazon or Logitech’s Website! Scroll down to find out the rating I gave it, plus pros/cons making it easier for you to decide on purchasing it or not.
