League of Legends – Gwen: The Hallowed Seamstress Revealed

Be careful with those scissors!

League of Legends’ latest champion, Gwen: The Hallowed Seamstress, has been revealed today! With the release of Wild Rift for North America, and the Space Groove event around the corner, we brace for more hype coming our way from Riot’s 2021 Roadmap! That being said, Gwen is a champion I wouldn’t mind seeing in-game. As you may already know, many can agree that the past 6 champions have been “crazy” to say the least. No not Jinx crazy, more like 20% character development and 80% kit experimentation.

Although that might be the case with how Riot makes their champions now, Gwen seems different and more unique. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but her story adds more interesting details about her. Her being a doll made by Isolde (Viego’s Wife), then being brought to life thanks to the mist, is actually interesting. She uses the tools that were used to make her, as weapons! Of course, we probably won’t see characters with Singed or Jhin kinds of character development for a while, but we are getting closer to the glory days!

Moving past that, her kit is very elegant it seems. Not too sure if she will have ridiculous amounts of scaling involved, but I haven’t seen anything yet that makes me not want to play or verse her. She does look fast in a way, but not something you can’t outplay if smart enough. Again, it all depends on what her abilities are capable of, not what they look like. Here’s a gameplay trailer they dropped earlier today:

Do you think she will be broken, or balanced just right? Let us know down in the comment section, or you can react down below as well!
