We’ve finally got some gameplay footage of Far Cry 6 from Ubisoft, and so far, I’m impressed! We aren’t talking about an ordinary adventure in the woods anymore. We are fighting back for a whole country against a corrupt administration, with no help to fight the entire Yara army! A local Yaran, Dani Rojas, has had enough, and (he or she, because you can choose between them) will single-handily takedown dictator Anton Castillo and his teenage son Diego.
It’s full Guerrilla time, and there is no turning back once you go down this path. Well, two paths you can choose to go down. Either hide in plain sight of the corrupt government or take a more hidden route in the jungle. Being that you are armed with many gadgets, weapons, skills, and the choice between a loyal doggo or Animal Planet styled Crocodile, I’m confident in your ability to take down 1,000s men without help…
I get a kick out of the unnecessary, but totally cool to watch healing animations from Far Cry 2 and 3! They took a cigar, inhaled a puff before jamming it into their bullet wound to close it up. Wow. And here I thought Ubisoft lost touch for some smaller but impactful details in gameplay for Far Cry.
Alright, I won’t keep typing your eyes off. The release date for Far Cry 6 is October 7th, 2021. I’m sure they will release a pre-order offer soon, so keep your eyes peeled, you silly pirates! Or shall I say, heroes of Yara? Just kidding, they already have a pre-order set! It’s the moral-support doggo I was talking about earlier:
