Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War Has Been Teased!

Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War teased with a couple of messages behind the video!

Not too much of a surprise, because someone leaked the title through a Doritos bag. Activision released an official teaser of their latest title, Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War here:

Near the end, it says, “Know your history.” I guess I’m uneducated because I don’t remember zombies ever being an issue in history. All jokes aside, we are back at it again with the USA vs. the Soviet Union. Half the trailer translates into Russian, giving you an idea of what this title is about if you didn’t know already.

I’m not a big history guy, but that’s where Google comes in handy! I’m sure this title will put a remix to this event, but I imagine being somewhat close to the real story. I also expect there to be a zombies mode, just like in every Black Ops title.

Zombies mode is a Plan B just in case things don’t go right in campaign or multiplayer. Whenever you got frustrated, you go to zombies and take your anger out on lifeless AI. Over the years, I’ve come to not enjoy Zombies as much as I did as a kid. It’s still a great mode, and I love that it lives to this day, but the hunger for victory against others is too great to pass up.

Competitive Games (Teaser)

Competitive games seem to consume all of us at some point in our lives, and it takes the enjoyment out of gaming. You start to notice that you don’t enjoy the game anymore, you enjoy winning in this specific game. This is cool and all, but that seems like the only reason why most even play Call of Duty anymore. It’s a proving ground for mostΒ and also leads to esports scenes for a select few.

I will write more about the topic of “Competitive gaming” in a future article, but maybe it doesn’t always have to be that way. When you are someone who works a 9 to 5 and you come home, you don’t have that feeling. You genuinely want to play the game because you’ve missed it, and that’s what keeps communities alive.
