Gaming NewsNews Bioware has to fix Anthem before it’s too late. April 4, 2019106 views0 Share By Johnny Django Share [dropcap size=big]B[/dropcap]eing an Anthem player myself, I’m sad to say that this game really disappointed me… Its too soon to write off Anthem as a flop, but if they don’t change soon there will be no return for Anthem. Here are some of the reasons why I am saying this. Bioware is known for Story Rich games like Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Jade Empire, etc… But the thing is, Anthem lacks that and that was very unexpected from Bioware. Not to bash them but most players including myself could predict what was going to happen in the next cutscene. Not only is the Storyline kind of lame, but the scenery also makes the game a false advertisement. In the E3 Trailer, we see LOTS of Detail, Lighting, and lots to explore! But the Retail release was everything but that. Look at these pictures below. Fort Tarsis E3 vs Retail (Image by Nick930) Open World E3 vs Retail (Image by Nick930) These 2 pictures are by Nick930 from Youtube and I just wanted to point out how drastically they changed from E3 to Retail. All that being said, the thing that was supposed to make Anthem stand out from every other Loot Shooters was the fact that you can fly. Flying in this game just feels like a chore, not something you would volunteer to do, this is not good for Anthem. The E3 Trailer really put out a high expectation for Anthem, which led to a lot of people being displeased with the release being a false advertisement. Do you think Anthem will Survive?
