5 Highest-Earning Pro Players In Esports Scenes!

Here are 5 of the highest-earning pro players in the biggest esports scenes!

The world is starting to notice Esports as an actual thing instead of a “Loser” or “Nerdy” hobby. That being said, there is nothing Loser or Nerdy about how much these pro players earned.

I also want to mention this before I start. The players I list here are the top players of an individual game. This list won’t contain pro players from the same game.

Disclaimer: This list will most likely become invalid in the future, but for the time being, this is who currently stands at the top of earnings.

#5 – Ian “Crimsix” Porter

Crimsix is a professional Call of Duty player and the player with the most earnings in the Call of Duty Esports scene! Formerly a pro Halo player, he pointed his career into a different direction, Call of Duty!

He has won a lot of tournaments, adding up to a total amount of $1,158,159.47! His largest earning came from this Call of Duty League Championship 2020, where he earned $300,000 (25.90% of his total prize money)!

#4 – Lee “Faker” Sang Hyeok

Faker is a professional League of Legends player and the player with the most earnings in the League of Legends Esports scene! He was known for his outstanding mid lane skills, leading him to win 3 World Championships!

His total prize money stands at $1,257,615.87! The largest earnings Faker has received was $338,000.00 (26.88% of his total prize money) from 2016’s World Tournament!

#3 – Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen

Dupreeh is a professional CS:GO player and the player with the most earnings in the CS:GO Esports scene! He was a former Counter-Strike: Source player, then moved his career towards CS:GO.

His total prize money earned is $1,798,822.74! The largest earning Dupreeh won was $200,000.00 (11.12%Β of his total prize money) from Intel Grand Slam Season 1!

#2 – Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf

Bugha is a professional Fortnite player and the player with the most earnings in the Fortnite Esports scene! He wasn’t really known for anything else besides winning Fortnite’s biggest prize money!

His total prize money earned is $3,153,561.72! Surprisingly enough, he won $3,000,000 (95.13% of his total prize money) from the Fortnite World Cup Finals 2019 – Solo.

#1 – Johan “N0tail” Sundstein

Johan is a professional Dota 2 player and the player with the most earnings in the Dota 2 Esports scene!

His total prize money earned is $6,944,322.80! Surprisingly enough, he wonΒ  $3,124,036 (44.99% of his total prize money) from The International 2019.

These are the 5 highest-earning pro players in Esports by individual games! Truth be told, this list would’ve been full of Dota 2 players if I didn’t limit it to each game. There are 4-5 more DOTA 2 players between N0tail and Bugha in earnings!

There is no doubt that Dota 2 has the most money backing them out of all the Esports scenes!

I mainly focus on First-Person Shooters, but I take a dip in other genres as well from time to time. Two of my favorite games being Modern Warfare and Mortal Kombat! I'm a contributor for Digagami, not an official writer.
